2. Prize in the competition.

Competition conceptual design for the new headquarters of the Institute of Forensic Expertise is a comprehensive design of a laboratory and office building.

The building creates a simple, minimalist and compact shape. In the south-western part, the corner was emphasized, on the north-eastern side, for the part of the building deeper into the plot, the height was reduced by one storey, and a technical roof zone and an observation deck were planned in the place of the lowering. The façade of the building is formed by a regular arrangement of glazing in the form of window openings and belts between storeys with an accentuated zone of the main entrance in the form of an arcade. The higher part of the building will create a dominant light block, while the lower part will be a block in dark colors.
