Before starting design work, the scope of work that will be performed in the project should be initially determined. This information will be necessary to determine the scope of work and the initial price offer for the project, and will also help avoid unforeseen mistakes in the future:…

Design process.

The time needed to prepare design documentation depends on many factors. The most important of them are:

— Building area

— Research technology and its specificity

— Number of rooms and type of facility as well as the time necessary to obtain the required permits

The project of adaptation, modernization or reconstruction of an existing facility involves its adaptation to currently applicable norms and standards. This requires appropriate knowledge and a professional approach to maximize the use of existing technological solutions and minimize the costs of building modernization.

The most important stages of the design process are:

— Determining the scope of work

— Inventory (accurate measurements and preparation of detailed drawings which are the beginning of our work)

— Consultations with the Investor/User about the initial appearance and specificity of research and work in the laboratory along with future changes

— Preparation of the concept (2D and 3D) – the first outline of a new or modernized facility

— Carrying out design work with constant consultation with the Investor/User

— Development of the structure and methodology of the research process (optional)

— Development of industry projects and construction design

— Obtaining the necessary permits

— Development and submission of a complete executive design

— Author’s supervision over the implementation of the investment
